Skeith smirks as he pulls his rapier, closing the gap between him and the brute as best he could. Sure, he could handle it a few different ways but in the end it always came down to the fight. The fight was what drove them all - most of the time, the fight to survive. Attack roll of 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19

fyi you can't draw a weapon and move at the same time without bab +1. You won't be able to charge this round either unless you have quick draw.

Edit: Skeith smirks as he pulls his rapier, beckoning the brute to him. He couldn't help but think of the various things that he could have chosen to do instead but in the end it was all about the fight..
Forgot it takes that BAB +1. Sleep-deprived posting will do that to you. Thanks Dav. GMs call if I can keep that attack roll though I'm not holding my breath. He wants me dead.

TheMan BehindTheCurtain |

Just as a note, the DM doesn't want any of you dead yet. Perhaps if things prove to be stacked in your favor, I'll start trying to kill you. But not this early. I'll let you hold the attack roll, Skeith. :)
So, to describe what happens:
The two thugs closest to the center of the room move toward the bouncers who can be seen to still be functional. One bouncer is near your table, one is on the opposite side of the room.
Vesara murmurs an incantation and moves her hands in a complex pattern, and the air ripples around her body momentarily.
Skorabor flinches at the explosion and then opens his eyes. He shakes his head and grunts. "By the halls of Torag...", he says, hopping off his chair and drawing a large axe. "What is the meaning of this?!", he roars.
A tall, robed man steps out of the public privies and takes a few steps toward the center of the room. As he walks he drops the remains of a scroll.
Skeith/Dias draws a rapier and smirks as he gestures the nearest goon to come closer.
The one-eyed woman repeats her demand that everybody drop to the ground and pulls out a rapier.
The bouncer across the room shakes his head, sees a drawn sword in front of him, and swings a club at the man holding it. It strikes the man a solid blow, but doesn't drop him.
The second pair of goons take steps to help their companions deal with the bouncers. None of them seem to have noticed the activity at your table yet.
Barnabus leans his tall spear against the wall behind him and begins to methodically string his bow.
Moonchaser, having stood at the sound of the explosion, is prepared when Davlamin hops onto his back and whistles. He begins to wind his way toward the nearest goon, ending up right behind the near bouncer with the drawn rapier.
Vesara:
Skorabor:

Now that we're in round 1, full actions can be taken.
Round Counter: 1
Initiative Counts:
Goons 1,3 - 24
Vesara - 22
Skorabor - 21
Angvar - 18
Skeith - 17
Thuvalia - 17
Bouncer - 14
Goons 2,4 - 10
Barnabus II - 7
Davlamin, Moonchaser - 5
Current BattlePlot.
The first pair of goons engage the two armed bouncers. Although they have their short-swords drawn, they don't use them, preferring to slam their targets with their fists. Their aim is slightly thrown off by the fact that their short-swords are still in hand, though, and they both miss their targets. The first two goons' movements are already reflected in the Plot, since they act before any of you.

Skorabor Skalfgrin Boulderback |

With a determined stride and blackened eyes Skorabor makes his way towards the thugs, pushing people out of the way as he goes[i]. "Out of my way, oafs! There's a Boulderback comin' through!", [i]he yells as he makes his way through the crowd. "You there!". pointing at the closest thug. "Bring it", Skorabor says with a grin
I'll use my round to run (x3 speed) as close to the nearest thug.

TheMan BehindTheCurtain |

Vesara: Just so you know, you'll have to move in closer to the chest to hit it with the Grease spell. Range limit is 25 ft at first level.
Skorabor: The entire room is effectively difficult terrain from people being down on the ground or being a panicked crowd. You can't run. You also don't have a straight line to run in.
Side note, everybody. Entire room is difficult terrain. Double square costs to move (i.e. 3 squares = 30 feet of movement).

TheMan BehindTheCurtain |

Your assumption is correct. I'll let you know how far you are come then. At the moment, you're 10 ft. from one, and there's another who's likely to move into a similar range of you, although you and Moonchaser will have to move through Skeith to get to an open square to hit them. You should be well able to reach one or two of them by your turn.

Oh, didn't know i couldn't run in difficult terrain and needed a straight line to run in. In that case i'll take a dóuble move and end up behind Skelith

Skeith |

With the smirk still on his face Skeith takes a swipe at the nearby goon. Aforementioned attack roll. "You know what your first mistake was? Coming into my hall with the intent to wreck it and not even include me in the cut." With that comment lingering in the goon's ears, Skeith let his rapier do the rest of the talking.

Skeith |

You may want to roll damage (posting from my phone so I could be wrong), I can't see a damage roll.
Nope, you're right. Posting from my phone as well so coding is a beast to contend with and its hard enough to read the screen. Damage roll of 1d6 ⇒ 1. Thanks again Dav. Hopefully you saving my OOC butt won't need to be translated in-game. -chuckles and looks at his roll, followed by a sigh- Going to be one of those days.

TheMan BehindTheCurtain |

Mkay. Well, I'll update things and then we'll see what you two can do.
Vesara steps around the table over various people and stops near the dealer, who is crouched low with her hands over her head. She pulls out and loads her sling.
Skorabor, moving rather quickly for his size, manages to hope over various prone figures, scoot past Moonchaser, and clamber onto the table next to Skeith/Dias. All the while, he is yelling, "Out of my way, oafs! There's a Boulderback comin' through!" He brandishes his axe at the goon, and growls, "You there. Bring it."
The tall man continues to step over people as he withdraws another scroll from inside his robes.
Skeith/Dias, smirk on face, says, "You know what your first mistake was? Coming into my hall with the intent to wreck it and not even include me in the cut." He swings a lazy cut at the goon's face, leaving a streak of scarlet across the man's cheek.
The one-eyed woman takes a step toward the chest, then yells a few words and throws her hand toward the far bouncer. His head snaps back as if he has been hit with something, and he reels momentarily.
The two remaining goons step up to help their companions. The one nearer the far bouncer moves around behind him, preparing to take him from behind while he's distracted. The near one steps up to Skeith/Dias and takes a swing at him with his fist. It whistles by Skeith/Dias's head.
Barnabus, Davlamin, that's you two up. I suppose I'll start updating the Battle Plot as frequently as I can. Click Here

TheMan BehindTheCurtain |

As the goon's head comes around from being slash, he makes brief eye contact with Barnabus. In that instant, a sensation of power passes from one to the other, and the goon's head jerks ever so slightly back as it continues to turn back toward his attacker.
Davlamin: One goon is opposite Skeith/Dias from you. The other is next to his partner, and just suffered a slash from Skeith/Dias. He's also adjacent to Skorabor who has clambered up on the table. If you can get past Skeith/Dias, you can go after the other goon.
The tokens with blue rings are prone. One is your dealer, the other two are people you were gambling with. The link in my previous post should work, but let me know if it doesn't.

TheMan BehindTheCurtain |

Moonchaser carefully picks his way over prone figures, carrying Davlamin around the table. Davlamin, meanwhile, draws a mace and then slams it into the goon's head as soon as he's in range. It connects with a crunch.
Round Counter: 2
Initiative Counts:
Goons 1,3 - 24
Vesara - 22
Skorabor - 21
Angvar - 18
Skeith - 17
Thuvalia - 17
Bouncer - 14
Goons 2,4 - 10
Barnabus II - 7
Davlamin, Moonchaser - 5
The thug attacking the far bouncer draws a sap and swings it at the bouncer. He connects, and the bouncer drops like a stone.
The goon near to you shakes off the effects of the mace hit, and realizing what he's up against seems to cause him to choose discretion as the better part of valor. He backs toward the front door, apparently attempting to escape. Since he's using a Withdraw action, he doesn't provoke attacks of opportunity from Moonchaser, Skorabor, Davlamin, or Skeith for the first square of movement. He does provoke an AoO from Skeith for the second square, though. I've paused his movement on the battle map in the relevant square. If your attack misses, I'll update the battle map to reflect his continued movement. The pink triangle indicates that he may still be moving.
The token with the red ring is the unconscious bouncer.

I can't reach google docs from work and i can't seem to ever find the lastest update on the mobile UI, so my action might be a bit off
"That's right, when a Boulderback comes rollin' you best run!", Skorabor growls at the goon who turned and ran for the exit. With his waraxe gripped in his two hands he jumps of the table besides the remaining goon and takes a swing.
Move action to move adjacent to the remaining goon
Attack (inc power attack) roll 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Damage roll 1d10 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17

Round 1 Action-

Davlamin invokes the favour of the spirits, sharing the blessing with Moonchaser as the wolf surges forward and bites at the nearest foe.
Watch out, watch out! Wolf's about! Davlamin quips gleefully while Moonchaser's jaws snap threateningly.
Actions- Davlamin casts Divine Favor, no attack actions this round. Moonchaser takes a move action and takes a bite at someone, and gets a free trip attempt if he hits.

I'm pretty sure that's blocked off as well:) It was just a little comment that my posted actions might be abit off at times.

TheMan BehindTheCurtain |

Okay. So, updating a few of the actions for Round 2.
As the man moves past you, you take a lazy swipe at him. He parries with his short-sword, though, and continues on out the door.
Vesara takes two steps toward the platform around the huddling figure of the dealer, and with a word and a wave, the chest on the platform is moderately coated in something slimy.
Skorabor leaps off the table, swinging his axe in a two-handed slash. The axe connects with the goon, carving a broad stroke through the man's armor. He drops, bleeding heavily. As a side note, Skorabor, a two-handed Power Attack deals an additional 3 damage, not just an additional 2. The two-handed part does 150% Power Attack damage.
The tall man steps up onto the platform and reads a number of words off the scroll, and places his hand and the scroll on the chest. The chest shrinks drastically.
Skeith's turn.
BattlePlot for Round 2.5

Skorabor Skalfgrin Boulderback |

Yep, i can see now that i misinterpreted the wording of that feat. More damage, yay \o/
As the thug hits the floor Skorabor turns to Davlamin and shouts with a smile: "Did you see that, Dav? That's why i keep tellin' you to get a sturdy axe of dwarven craftmanship instead of that stick you insist of carryin' around!"

TheMan BehindTheCurtain |

Skeith/Dias strides up to the platform and takes a swipe at the tall man who just shrank the chest as he steps up. Unfortunately, the act of stepping up onto the platform manages to throw off his attack, and he misses cleanly. The tall man starts, realizing that he's no longer alone. He calls out, "Thuvalia, to me!"
The one-eyed woman, Thuvalia, hears the tall man's cry. She responds, "Angvar!" and runs to the platform to help him.
The goon who was moving to flank the now-unconscious bouncer sees what's about to happen and continues past the bouncer. He moves around the table and ends up behind Angvar, the tall man. His friend who just took an axe blow continues to bleed on the floor.
Barnabus?
Also, is there any interest in possibly moving this to an outside site created specifically for this campaign and group? This thread gave me the idea. It's a good template, and it gives us a lot of ability to see things and play. Let me know what you all think.

Davlamin Jubilost |

No interest from me but i'll accept group consensus. The template is good and I use it to handle downtime etc. in a kingmaker campaign of mine, but I don't find it as well suited for play by post as the Paizo forums. Its a lot about my convenience too I admit, I prefer only having one site to check.
Also I think we're taking too long for combats. I understand if some players can't update as frequently as others for long RP posts, but you should be able to log on once a day, drop a quick attack and damage roll or spell, that takes two minutes. Round two started on Tuesday, its now sunday!

Barnabus II |

Selecting another goon....
The partner of the goon last time
Evil Eye hex
will Save DC 16
-2 to his attack rolls......
I like paizo for Pbp....Likely will continue to target opponents till at least round 4 when I will cackle to extend the evil eye...

TheMan BehindTheCurtain |

Barnabus gets a bit of a start, brushing past Vesara, and hops onto the table. The tall man, his head already turning in that direction, locks eyes with him for a brief instant. A pulse passes between the two, and Angvar's head recoils.
Mkay. We'll probably keep things here, then, depending on the others. May set one up later as a resource tool.

Skorabor Skalfgrin Boulderback |

I'll rather keep things here as well, because the web filter at work won't allow access to the other site.
Skorabor pushes his way through to the woman the tall man called "Thuvalia", cursing at the people who block his way.
"You can't bet me in a game of wits so you try to beat me in a game of strength?", he yells to the one eyed womam. His luck with playing Golem has clearly gone to his head.
Two move actions to get beside Thuvalia

Revised actions:
Move action to move up to Thuvalia
Attack roll (with power attack): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Damage roll: 1d10 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
