I apologize if I missed it, I wasn't able to find information on this.
What happens to the contents of a bank when the settlement it's in is destroyed? What if just the bank is destroyed?
To the victors go the spoils? A percentage of them? Do the contents remain in the bank in case you can somehow sneak in and withdraw them under cover of darkness and distraction?
What about if you're kicked out of a settlement? Is there a scenario where your goods are confiscated? Will they be deposited in a "lump sum" outside the city gates like an eviction?

Very relevant questions, I have a lot of them myself about in-game coin and items. I hope they do a Videoblog about this some time. I have no asnwers, just more questions.
Since I think it is the plan to make gold that is on your person not lootable, I am curious about the following:
How much coin can you carry? Is there a point where you have to put it in the bank else you are weighed down? Will bandits, who obviously will turn any items/resources they loot into gold asap, be required to make use of (lootable) banks too or can they carry all their wealth with them in gold on their person? Is there maybe a max amount that a person can carry?
I can see a scenario where a Settlement is about to fall to a siege, and everyone is quickly logging in Alts (or even mains) who quickly mule all the gold of the settlementbank on their characters (encumbered or not) and then log out or die(gold can not be looted), let the settlement burn and they respawn in an NPC city with all the gold safely on their mules.

These I can handle. Gold has neither weight nor encumbrance-value, and you always have access to it whilst in game.
Gold thus cannot be looted, as it's not physically present on your corpse. Downside: if one pays a SAD in gold, not goods, the payment's gone forever; you can't hunt the bandit down and take your gold back.

Thanks Jazzlvraz. Well, that sounds rather exploitable then. I guess the only loot the winner of a Siege will ever see are items and resources then. Which could be a substantial boon off course. After all, since markets are local and transporting items is costly and risky, you may be better of with a bunch of resources and items rather then a sack of gold that buys you only the local stuff anyway.
I guess I just have to get a better feeling for what has more value, where and when. It is probably a good thing that losers to a succesful siege can get their bank-gold to safety rather easily. So they can recoup some value.

You have used necromancy!
You are flagged heinous for 10 minutes.
Your alignment shifts towards evil.
Your alignment is no longer compatible with your chosen settlement.
Your settlement affiliation has been dissolved.
You are now affiliated with Fort Inevitable.
I actually expected that more for the use of banking than for the necromancy.
