Gotcha. My usual "market price" for lead has been that it's roughly equal to copper in value. As to weight, lead is a metal that's happy to be pounded into a thin foil, so I side with GeneticDrift that - although a pound of lead is a surprisingly small ingot - you'd only need a pound's worth of thin foil. Costwise I'd say something like 5 gp or less (largely due to the cost of labor) would do it.

I don't think lead is defined in the rules. But since its just a lead lining I wouldn't make it weigh much more, maybe 1 pound.

Here's one of the sites I found when looking around for the weight of both granite and lead when considering the weight of "Lead Box" in another thread. A square foot sheet only 1mm thick weighs in around 2.3 lbs. But maybe your GM will say the sheet only needs to be 0.01mm thick etc..
