After watching the demo I decided to check out all the other videos and now I am one sad panda that I must wait about a month before I can get his in hand. Looks like a lot of fun and cannot wait to get it. :)

Will you be picking your copy up at Gen Con?
No, but I thought the release date was Aug 15th per a post from Vic. I also have all of my items shipped once a month so I estimated about a month before I get a copy in hand. Is it set to release before the 15th? Maybe I will have that item shipped out before the rest of my monthly package.

So...what is that "same time as all of the other August releases?" Does this mean that it should ship out to subscribers around the 15th? Would be great to be able to schedule a game night shortly after this comes out...

I can only hope that the shipping date of early September for Amazon.co.uk are accurate. I can't afford the US to Europe shipping rates from Paizo, so that's the best way to get it for me. Not even to mention that it's likely that costums would like an extra share of money if I'd order it from anywhere outside of Europe.

More sincerely: I've watched about 1/3 of these! I'm sure it'll go way over 100 before Skull&Shackles takes the world by storm. Great game, great experiences, stellar designers!

Hey Mike. Do you have a recommendation of one of these videos that you think would be really good for a new player to watch? I know some of them have mistakes (which we all make) so I didn't know if you knew of one that was an early scenario (hopefully Brigandoom!) with out any mistakes. Thanks.
I dunno what Mike thinks about this but I found the Tim Norris (Grey Elephant Gaming) full playthrough informative and entertaining. They do make mistakes but *usually* they will come back and correct them and it gave me more of a feel for the game than I would have gotten from just a review or an unboxing. And they definitely play from the new player perspective - I watched it before I even had the game and understood what was going on.
Great. Thanks. (Mike if you've got one I'll take it too.) Trying to give someone an example they can watch and wanted to make sure it would be helpful. Thanks again.
The Grey Elephant, Crits Happen, and Rahdo ones are all really good.
I think the Starlit Citadel one is maybe the cleanest and clearest description of the game. They're up in Vancouver, so I should probably go meet them at some point.
