            Dreamscarred Press's 2011 Bestiary Contest!
Dreamscarred Press is proud to announce its first Bestiary Contest. The contest is designed to give new, unknown, and struggling game designers the opportunity to be published. Dreamscarred Press owners Jeremy Smith and Andreas Rönnqvist will judge the entries and oversee the competition.
As the name implies, the contest is for monsters to be released in a psionic bestiary to be published by Dreamscarred Press. The winner of the contest will receive a paid commission to work on that bestiary.
Complete rules are available at the Dreamscarred Press website.

I confess to being interested and also to not yet having read your psionic rules (though its on my to-buy list). You are going to compel me to buy a copy early just to enter aren't you. :)
Lol, well, you can use the Beta rules as a starting point. Not much changed for monsters from Beta to release. But feats, powers, and the rest are a different story.

Ah well, I'm working to download it as I type. I'll see what I can come up with for the contest. :)
I may have missed it, was there a desired ETA for the final product after the contest is ended?

Quick point of clarification, the word count for each entry is for everything, including the stat block, right? I mention that since a typical stat block contains somewhere around 150 to 200 words or so (more if they have spellcasting/manifesting ability), not counting the text for special abilities.

Hm, finally a reason to like me some psionics ;) Don't know if I'll pick up your rules just for this contest, but I might suggest that you leave a shout-out to this in the Rpg-superstar forums, as many people who might be interested in this will be lurking there too.
As was suggested, the Beta rules (we did an Open Playtest Cycle) are available at our website for those who don't want to pick up our book immediately.
I'll go find the RPG Superstar forums and see if we can post this competition there too. Thanks for the suggestion! :D
