Well not exactly and probably not relevant until Paizo comes up with thier own Psioncs supplement.
But I figured you guys might have a few idea or come across this idea already.
Basically I had an idea to make a Warforged/Psiforged Psion Shaper with a slight twist. instead of being able to create an astral contstuct that goes and fights like any summon critter I thought would it be cool if the shaper could form the contruct around themselves litterlly becomming suspended within the astral contstruct and fighting as the Construct.
An observer looking at it would see the character surrounded by a larger translucent ecto form.
The class would be very specialized around augmenting the construct this is not designed to be a big ecto suit for a PsiBlaster.
I haven't come across anything even close to something like this has anyone else ?
Well, there is that one feat from Complete Psionics which allows you to "wear" an astral construct for teh abilities and temp hitpoints.
Beyond that, I wouldn't be surprised if there were other feats along those line from the third party folks (like Dreamscarred Press).
Hmmm, well, I can't say I've ever approached it from exactly that angle before. I think it would probably be similar to the Ectopic Form feats from Complete Psionic. Just build a feat that allows you to form the contruct around yourself. And you will probably want to at least glance at the Ectopic Adept prestige class. Hope that helps.
Off the wall idea, maybe.
Make it conform to the general guidelines of the new "x shape" form of spells.
Instead of turning into X critter, you form the ectoplasm around yourself, turning into a hulk of goo, but attaining the stats of whatever "spell" it is you are emulating.
(I know the Astral Construct Power doesn't mimic polymorph, but you are essentially trying to change your shape to enhance your power.. )
