Anyone who want's to contribute work to Goblin, feel free to make the rolls as posted earlier.
The first night after the tournament you all are either milling about the gambling hall or working. The hall is filled with laughter and music sprinkled with the occasional cries of defeat or squeals of victory. But it comes to your attention that there's a commotion occurring at the front.
Stools are being thrown, patrons pushed, and cards and chips scattered as six men become unruly. You all recognize them as surly patrons from the cheat the devil tournament, and also remember them not doing so hot.
"THIS PLACE IS A SHAM!" one bellows, wobbling a bit as he smashes his empty bottle against the wall.
From after February 2nd, the only posters have been myself, Meghan, and Ryssa.
Taton had said he was on vacation, so that's understandable, but Sully has gone dark and I Aster hasn't posted in since the first.
I sent private messages yesterday, at 2 in the morning. I'm going to give them a couple more days, but if nothing comes up, I'll probably shift Ryssa and Meghan into my other Second Darkness game, which is progressing decently well.

Considering opening up another quick recruitment, or combining both second darkness games into one massive 8 person game. I can vouch for the roleplaying quality happening in the other game, but not sure on all your thoughts on such a large number.

Okay, I've thought it over and I'm going to look for another player in a recruitment post rather than cram all of you in one game or port one player from the other game into this one.
Sound good?
I'll be posting something relatively soon, but if someone has a volunteer in mind who they'd think would be a good fit, by all means recommend them. I'd like to have two more players.

Hello! I'm one of the new guys!
Stat-wise, I'll be arcane support, mostly, with a focus on conjuring. I'm part of the high-charisma crew, as well, so there's that.
Character-wise, Tural is an aasimar who's kind of sensitive about his past, a deep hatred of drow, and feels betrayed by most of the Outer Planes, good and evil.
DM- When/how should I introduce my character in the gameplay?

She's halfling Fighter using the Opportunist archetype. At the moment she's mostly a speedbump for enemies considering her low damage and high AC. Eventually she'll be using alchemical weapons as an integral part of her toolkit.
Character wise she's a rather fierce young woman who loves combat, having known little else in life. She also is a smart combatant though and enjoys tactics as much as she likes the thrill of the fight. Elea is a former slave from Cheliax who was trained to fight in less than legal gladiatorial matches. She escaped with help from the Bellflower Network and recently arrived in Riddleport. She hates slavery and is suspicious of people in power and of nobility. She's also completely new to freedom.

Yay! More orientation shifts at work for me! (sarcasm) But in all seriousness, you will see some slowdown on my part in updates, but please but assured I will not go dark on you or abandon any games. I'll update when I can but between schoolwork, internship work, and work work, I'm gonna be a bit swamped. Should hopefully have more consistent breathing room sometime between one and two weeks.
Just to keep you all in the loop, during the no-new-notification incident (where forum games weren't alerting folks to updates), I had a member of my family pass on.
As such, I feel it fair to inform you that I updates might take longer than usual (which I know, is plenty long of a wait already) and if you feel the need to drop out of a game I'm DMing or drop me from a game I'm participating in, I understand.
That said, I do hope to update within a couple days as I could use the distraction as the usual business of these events tend to warrant. Thank you for your understanding.

My condolences. I'll still be here when you get back in the swing of things.
Essentially write down what your move is that could be accomplished in a regular turn and wait for my update. When I get time, I'll move the combat forward. This lets a quick combat happen with getting held up waiting for people to post their turn. Those who have time to post and act will do so.

No internet access for me until Tuesday. Happy Easter!
Finals are over and I'm currently competing at a national leadership conference. Should be back by Monday and resume a better frequency of posting now that schools out.
Apologies for the lack of keeping you all informed. Up until now most free time was trying to fix metaphorically shooting myself in the foot on one final.

Give it some time. Meg's just trying the nice way first so that if Smeed is a jerk we can be as nasty as we wanna be in response. ;)
