Tech aims his pulsecaster at the last miner, but Mobius and Gary focus on Talbot, who falls into the mining cart, flames erupting from his jacket.
The last miner, seeing no way out, surrenders.

The miner cooperates with the party, showing the special artefact that Talbot stole. Talbot himself is less fortunate, his charred remains at the bottom of the mining cart.

Gary takes skeptically at the miner, but the stone from him and turns it over in his hand. Then looks to Markar, Beats me mate, I've never seen one before. He holds it out hoping someone else is better equipped to make a positive identification of the item. All the while watching the miners reaction.

Y-y-yes, that's the artefact that Talbot used to change thasteron. The miner whimpers, being too intimidated to answer much else.
Back in Tasch, Philt and his Abadarcorp cronies take the news of Talbots demise lightly. Probably the best for him. Thank you very much for your help, it has been a pleasure doing business with you.
The loyalty and camaraderie of the people in Tasch has inspired us. We have been planning for a shipping hub outside of Maro, and Tasch seems to be a good candidate from my observations.
Back on Absalom station, Arvin is happy with the recovery of the Charlatan's stone, and offers to pay a round of drinks at the Space Whaler, a popular bar near the Lorespire Complex.

Yes, this adventure can be quite short, you were quite effective at dealing with the miners and the AbadarCorp corporation. Also, the game didn't have space combat, so that helps as well.

No, that's wrong. My chronicle generator had a bug, and xp and pp was switched around. I've updated the files now, with a fix in place.
