Balomar |
Balomar steps up to the orc with the red sash on its waist. "You follow the wrong leader and took the wrong course. You will pay for your misdeeds." With that, he brings his katana down upon the unrighteous.

Delio PFS |
"Well struck! Let's tie these two up and turn them over to the authorities. There are probably more orcs about, though." Delio produces some rope from his pack and secures the two captives while the others search the room.
Miji Jaiqat |
The last orc takes a step away from the group except for Miji and he slashes with his scimitar on the tiefling...
[dice=MW Scimitar]1d20+7...[dice=DMG]1d6+3
barely missing the target and cursing his luck knowing that if his orc buddy was still drumming he would have hit...
I rolled a parry and riposte on my last turn. And if I get the kill, it regains a panache.
Segray Starnon |
Segray smirks and says
"Well done. It looks like they eventually surrendered.... to your blades."
She then casts detect magic spell.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
GM Qwerty |
Miji regains the panache as his stroke struck first and then Balomar came in and made a mess of things.
There is nothing else of value in this room which was used as a dining room save for the mixing bowl on the dais which has a yellow mold growing in it.
Miji Jaiqat |
Miji drags his boots along the stones, pacing the room. "Now do you see why I wanted to fight everybody at once?" My next mission better be to Cheliax. I'm going to walk into the first bar I see and shout 'Free drinks for a free Andoran!'
"Can anybody use this wand? It's really just a wound to my ego, but this scratch does itch a little bit." Miji lazily twirls the looted wand across his knuckles and through his fingers.
Zora Draznoi |
"I can," Zora informs Miji, and takes it to tap him with it.
Miji's CLW on him: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
"Do you require more help?" (You can assume Zora will active the wand as much as you need, Miji.)
Then, Zora looks blankly at Delio. "We traveled seven days to reach this place. Do you intend to guard them for the duration of our exploration here, and for a week's worth back on the trail? Surrender was offered to them; they refused and chose the fight. My goddess is willing to accept them now."
She unslings her spear from her back dispassionately, moving towards the first of the orcs. "Unless there are objections?"
Miji Jaiqat |
Miji's bow pointedly displays his flexibility and dexterity, "Most appreciated . . . and I would be more than happy to assist you and your goddess with these prisoners. Simply give them back their weapons, and then have a seat." Miji smiles at the orcs, while pitching his voice to his companions, "I'd tell you to bet on me, but then somebody would have to bet on these fools--and nobody is that stupid." Am I being too greedy, or should I share with Delio?
Segray Starnon |
Segray smiles at Miji and says with a wink "Oh, I could've taken care of these wounds as well. In the name of Asmodeus."
Segray Starnon |
Segray nods. "West seems a good option."
Balomar |
"Left it is..." the paladin says emphatically and moves. "Orcs... We find an ancient temple of sorts, and it's full of orcs... well, I suspect we'll find something here a bit more dangerous. Be prepared." he continues to warn his fellow Pathfinders.
Zora Draznoi |
Zora shrugs at the decision to leave the orcs alive for now, and slings her spear back into its position on her back.
"As you will. Pharasma is patient. West it is."
She settles into position at the rear of the group once more.
Delio PFS |
Delio shakes his head. "You have the honor of the lead, with Sir Balomar; I have the far less glamorous task of making certain that anyone who tries to ambush us pays dearly for the privilege. If I draw first blood, something has gone rather badly."
Segray Starnon |
Segray chuckles and says to Benedict. "It seems men sometimes never really grow up. Their toys become just bigger... and deadlier."
Balomar |
Balomar stops suddenly looking around in all directions. He drops to a knee and examines the ground with desperate regard. Moving to the walls, he stands running his hands along them until he reaches as high as he can. He then looks back over the group. Finally, he shrugs and looks at Segray. "I dunna see these men you speak of, Miss Segray," he says with a wink. "Just boys with little pointy sticks!"
Turning back, he continues down the passage... chuckling along the way.
GM Qwerty |
Balomar makes his jest and then leads the group to the west, straight ahead...Four large, unadorned stone sarcophagi stand upright in alcoves along the north and south edges of this chamber with opened lids, while a fifth stands on a small platform to the west. Above the platform, a large inscription reads, “They gave their lives to battle death.”
As soon as Balomar enters the room three skeletal figures begin to move inside three of the wall sarcophagi with ornate longswords in their boney hands...

Zora has said little as the banter washes over here, but seeing the undead rise around them brings her to full attention. Her pale eyes flash and her expression becomes stern. She strides into the room with her spiral-painted shield held like a challenge and her other hand on the necklace that bears Pharasma's spiral.

"Any farmboy can bash things with a big stick. It takes an artiste to kill with only the point of a blade." Miji deliberately turns his back on the skeleton, yet still manages to block its blow and stab it back. He then dances a circle around the clunky Balomar, and stabs the skeleton yet again.
