Processing all of the information Ibid just spouted, Cyrus does his best to re-prepare himself properly for this fight.

What in nine hells were they working on in the labs down here?

Cyrus gently drops his fancy weapon upon hearing that it is not only useless, but actually makes these oddities stronger. Before drawing his light mace however, he instead pulls one of his alchemist's flasks from his bandolier. Move Action to retrieve a stored item

Seeing Finarin douse the far ooze with acid, and seeing Cyrus draw a fresh flask of alchemist's fire, Ibid quickly draws a blunt arrow from the quiver on his back to help bring the monstrosity down. The old man pulls back on the string, drawing the arrow to his cheek and allowing him to look down its length.

Ibid shoots at the far ooze...

Lort's gigantic back blocking Finarin's view, the elf's acid splash manages to miss the lumbering pile of meat. Ibid's aim is better, and the blunted arrow pierces the flesh, and sinks in to the creature. The flesh wobbles, but the Pathfinders are unable to say if the creature reacts to the blow somehow.

"Well damn it all, then," Lort curses in his giant's bellow, "Guess this won't be of use! Thanks for the warning, Ibid." Lort's now simply enormous magical greatsword slides back into its equally enormous scabbard as the gigantic half-orc takes a few steps towards the oozes, brandishing his plate-encrusted fists.

I'm assuming, for next round, that striking it with my gauntlet doesn't count as "bare flesh", right?

Lort Acrobatics: 1d20 - 5 ⇒ (16) - 5 = 11

**EDIT** I originally posted that with a +0, forgot about the armor check penalty! Phew! Is all I can say. Then again, the worst that could happen would be I'd have to stand up from prone as a move and ready an action anyway.

Temple map

We can assume the gauntlet is tight enough. As per rules falling down on the slime (which you didn't, lucky you!) would contract the disease. But I'd rule that Lort's full plate armour gives protection, and there's only 20% chance for that.

Thanks to the big oaf, I mean Lort, being in the way, Gunari cannot get close enough to attack (and he would have to charge, anyway). Seeing that brute force is the call of the day, he will 5' step forward (assuming the stairs are not so steep as to require a climb check), and cast Bull's Strength on himself, normally, and use a Fervor to cast Shield of Faith on himself as well. He figures he can draw his weapon (his silvered light hammer) when he moves up to attack.

He does look at the slime with a bit of trepidation... he's now known for his sure-footedness!

Once he gets to where he is on the map, if no immediate threats appear, Lort dismisses his enlarge person spell.

Temple map

These rooms reveal nothing about the event that have led to the current situation. Obviously some kind of fighting and chaos has taken place upstairs and these rooms, but besides the two monstrosities, there are no one else here. Ibid, remembering quite facts about the Hungry Flesh, realizes that these creatures might the result of the disease the party saw on the tiefling. Whoever did originally contract the tumour infestation, probably transformed into one of those flesh oozes.

Studying the northern room with the mannequins, the party is able to guess that Society researchers use this for testing alchemical weapons.

Only way to go is east (note that north is right, I missed that first...). Move your characters nearer to the passage. Lort, Cyrus and Finarin didn't wait for the slime to dry up, so they reach the test dummy room in two rounds. How about the others?

I updated the MAP and reduced Lort's size. As always I apologize if I erred, and feel free to readjust my assumptions.

Looks like Lort is already leading the way east...

"So, looks like they must have unlocked some kind of alchemical disease, then," surmises the still gigantic Lort, running his hand through the thick strands of his beard, "Best not to touch any liquids or vials until we know more about what happened."

When he realizes that there is no immediate threat, Lort dismisses his spell and the ridiculously over-sized half-orc deflates into a regular over-sized half-orc. As the companions who are playing it safe file into the room, Lort assists Miro in re-casting resistance on everyone, ending with himself and then Gunari. Drawing his blade, Lort makes ready to move into the eastern portion of the complex.

My post above has my actions for when we are all at the door. Checking for the unlikely trap, then opening after casting shield and allowing finarin to do the same. I had assumed we all waited until the slime dried up since you mentioned it only took a minute. Either way, I think we are good to go.

Gunari would prefer to wait until the slime dries... from what we heard, it could be quite dangerous. His Bull's Strength and Shield of Faith will last a total of 4 minutes.

As Cyrus and Ibid reset their Shield spells, Gunari will cast Guidance on himself. If there is time, he'll give Lort the same.

CRAP! I am so sorry. I can't even fix it now.. missed by 10 minutes. Please flag this for spoiler, or wrong forum. Lort, of course, added to the issue ;)

At least it wasn't a horrible spoiler. :/

Protective spells in place, the party moves forward. Once Cyrus has confirmed there's no traps, Lorts opens the door into the eastern room. Racks of surgical tools line the walls of this room, which contains only a single operating table. Steel shutters peer down from more than ten feet above the floor. The floor is a mess of broken glassware and dark stains. A ragged-looking woman is hiding under the operating table, looking confused. When she spots the Pathfinders, her red eyes focus on them. "Fiends! Coming to kill me, are you!? Not if I kill you first!!!", she screams, and with a psychotic, she attacks.

"Hold for now, friends," says Lort resolutely holding his greatsword, "Woman, we have no wish to do you harm. However, if you come any closer, harm will indeed come to you."

Lort steps 5ft forwards to allow his companions to get past should they wish. Not sure if a diplomacy or intimidate check will even help here. Readying an attack action for if she aggressively comes within range (ie. not walking casually but trying to attack Lort or a companion).

"I will not sacrifice the safety of my companions, stand down or we will bring you down. We are pathfinders, we can help you!"

Cyrus tries to plead with the obviously affected woman. He moves in, keeping the table between the two of them, in case he needs to react. His Wakizashi is drawn, though hopefully he doesn't have to use it.

Move action to get into the room and closer to the woman. I will ready an action to attack if she moves to threaten anyone.

I read the discussion thread first, so I skimmed past without looking... I saw a name but I have no idea what it means...
