"Well, that was close..." Richard sighs as they enter the hallway.
Perception: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (3) + 14 = 17
Sherix's Perception: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (19) + 13 = 32
"Anyone see anything dangerous?" He takes a look. "If not, let's go that way." He points to D5.

"Ah, of course! >The fine gentlemen warned us< about the pit trap, it's about halfway down here. Also this hallway isn't as long as it seems."
"Be ready if the guards on the other side start asking questions." Richard starts to carefully poke the ground as he goes along, looking out for the pit trap in particular.

"Anyone good at disabling devices?" Richard shrugs.

"Alright, sounds like we'll need to set it off." He ties a rope around his waist and hands it to Tal. "Hold onto this just in case a pit trap opens underneath me."
Richard bravely -and foolishly- steps onto the trapped area.

It's a 50 ft rope, let's say we use 40 ft of slack and tie the rest around me.
"Alright, here we go..." Richard braves the trap, hoping someone can yank him back before danger strikes.
