Hello! Check in here, and ask any questions as we prepare to get started. This is a module, so it will take longer than a typical scenario. It will also be worth 3 XP and 4 Prestige Points if you succeed.

All Tier 1 scenarios and Tier 1–2 sanctioned modules are available for unlimited replay with a 1st-level character for credit. The sanctioned modules may also be played with a 2nd-level character once for credit in each mode.

I don't have many rules, but I do have a few. First, you should be posting at least 5 days out of every 7. I usually check in multiple times a day, to try and keep things moving. If you will be gone for more than a day, please just post a note here to let us know.

Also, please make sure your character information is easily accessible. I prefer to see class/level/race/gender/HP/AC/Saves on each post, such as in a header bar. Please go ahead and post your initiative and perception here now - I will roll these in general just to keep things moving, but always feel free to roll an additional perception when you are actively trying to do something.

Finally, when you post actions in combat, please specify your target by color - I always outline each enemy icon in color so it is easier to keep track of who is friend or foe, and which foe is which.

I am excite, as the kids say! I'll get statline squared away in just a moment. I'll be GMing at my local PFS tomorrow (Sunday), so I likely won't get a chance to post much in that window, but if we're up and running by tomorrow evening I'll be sure to post then.

As mentioned in the recruitment, I do have a wand of CLW with Ember already, so I will happily contribute to any healing needed by the party.

She and Cinder are intended as set-up-and-smack buddies, where he sets up the hit and she takes it. As I recall, Cinder will be Dirty Tricking people when he sees a good opening for it, but others besides Ember can certainly benefit from that. And I will let my Dear Twin Brother speak for himself anyway. ;)

Forgot to ask, how long have guys been playing Pathfinder, or anything live it?

PFS itself, almost five years now. Pathfinder as a system, maybe a few months longer. Before that I'd played a short 3.5 campaign. My introduction to D&D actually came via the Baldur's Gate computer game series which I first started playing sometime around 2000 -- I really, really wanted to play face to face D&D, but I grew up in a conservative Christian family where it was assumed that this was devil worship, heh, so I didn't get to actually play D&D with other people until the 3.5 game which probably happened around 2004/2005 or so.

Since getting involved in PFS, I've managed to also play 4th, 5th, and 2nd editions. :P

I started playing Mordheim back in about 2002, I played a few games of Warhammer and things, but then ingot into dice games, Mordheim helped me building up characters with bonus stats for staying alive, haha.

But I didn't end up playing D&D of any kind till about 2007. Started with 4th ed then moved backward to Ad&D, and 2nd. Had an awesome necromancer with one eye and one hand, but I loved the critical miss chart never the less haha

Yeah, I've played this guy before in D&D. He always gets wrecked but comes out alive. Maybe it's just his history >.< I was grabbed by a bug bear and then hit twice by ally daily abilities because it kept putting me in the way.

I've thrown an axe at an orc war chief, he caught it and crit me with it by throwing it back... Just Belondia's luck :')

There's never been a dull moment, especially when you play with the crit/fail charts. I miss them. That adds true character to a character

Oh, we didn't sort it out, but does anyone want the shortsword? It's a better bonus to hit for Ember, so I'm perfectly happy to carry it and use it, unless someone else wishes it.

Belondia's always been an axe or hammer kind of Dwarf, so unless it's neseccary or magic he has no use for it. So I don't mind you having it :)

Leave the ropes and hooks there. I used mine and the spare from the town. You guys will have ropes in your class kits or adventuring pack. So we should be fine for rope. We'll use that to get back up when we come out
