I'd suggest Rusthenge. It's in fact inspired by "Against the Cult of the Reptile God" (although the actual adventure's pretty different in theme and setup and encounters, of course).
I was looking for something with a similar theme, I kind of like the cult side, some of my players do like CoC so I was going to try and lean into the cult and abduction side

I would posit that the best choice is Feast of Ravenmoor. It is one of the earlier First Edition modules but immediately felt to me to be the spiritual successor to "Against the Cult of the Reptile God."

Thanks for this, how many hours of gameplay(roughly of course) would this provide...just wondering before I pull the trigger

Alas, I do not DM adventures "As Written" -- I take material and inspiration from a few adventures, modules, and setting material, not to mention novels and other Muses, and produce 'Heavily inspired by' adventures and campaigns. It's nigh impossible for me to answer how long it could take to play out (on average) a specific module such as "Feast of Ravenmoor."
