How much damage does acid dragon breath do to a door if it deals 8d6 against normal target?

It does what the GM decides is appropriate to the door.

From the Area rules:

Many area effects describe only the effects on creatures in the area. The GM determines any effects to the environment and unattended objects.

Pretty much, The GM is free to adjudicate on if it gets a save or not, if its modifier is similar to the force through DC or an auto-fail.

And unless the door already have statistics for it.. its health, Break Threshold and hardness in accordance to the Materials Table for a wooden object or wooden structure if its reinforced.
