Bloodline Madness

Advice

Ok, so I'm building a PC for an upcoming campaign. The rest of the group are not extreme powergamers (which I sometimes can be). So what I intend is to max out a sub-optimal build. Hopefully we will then be about the same effectiveness.

My thought it a cross-blooded sorcerer with eldritch heritage for a third bloodline. This will give me lots of odd special things to do. Half elf favored class bonus to make up for the fewer spells known. I picked 3 bloodlines that seem to work together fairly well. But I'm open to other suggestions.
Below is my first pass at this build.

Ideas, thoughts, advice, etc...

overall it's okay, nothing that great.

okay - I'm not a fan of crossblooded or ability scores below 10.
Bloodlines: Aberrant, Undead.
chasing down SR... Aberrant - Alien Resistance (Su): At 15th level, you gain spell resistance equal to your sorcerer level + 10.
traits seem okay (all different categories).
I'd say over invested in Initiative and HP feats. 3 Eldritch heritages to snag BL abilities. Toppling not that great.
Thematic issues (half-elf, shoanti, nethys, aberrant, undead, eldritch...) but *meh*.

Any Advice for how to play a wizard, circa 2024-10

Actually a suggestion with traits:
Pragmatic Activator is a poor choice as it switches UMD to INT from your ideal CHA.

Sorcerers hoping to use a lot of metamagic can make good use of the Magic Exemplar trait. Read the exemplar trait rules closely though if you use this, they are a bit different.

Cross-blooded is usually a power drop. That is part of why I'm doing it.

I like having a low ability score. it makes it seem more real to me. I would say almost everyone I have ever met is poor at something.
Agreed toppling would probably be better as a rod since I only have 1 force spell. What would you suggest?
I would say over invested in perception. But only 1 feat each in initiative and hit points didn't seem like too much. What would you suggest instead?
Agreed on the thematic issues. What would you suggest?

Oops. you are correct. That is left over from when I was making him with the sage bloodline. I will change it to something else.

I did provide a link and I had multiple reasons...
some posters thought my Mage-killer build was underpowered so it fits your criteria. I don't really think it is for its play-style.

The Clr-VarPilgrm(Feronia) 1 Wiz-Diviner X was fun to play letting you do a 1|2hnd bastard sword routine AND do your wizarding.

The detailed builds also show trait and feat choices.

The obvious other choice is Mystic Theurge using the (Feronia) build above.

If you are stuck on Sorcerer...
Sor-Tattooed (BL Arcane) isn't bad, get a soulbound doll or faerie dragon via Impvd Familiar. Just limit yourself to CstrLvl-2 in active SplLvls of tattoo'd spells (otherwise it can get too crazy).
You can always multiclass to be less focused. Oracle, Pal, Bard, Ninja... or back to Clr-VarPilgrm with Chaldira, Erastil, Elion, or sumthin...
