Looking at getting started with 2e Society

I played some PF 1e society, and finally moving into 2e (Remastered). I'm looking at playing, and in future DM'ng Society. I live in West Plains MO, so not sure if anything is close enough. I'm not opposed to some FGU online as well, although I have purchased no books online as of yet.

Bobbo, there is a TON of Organized play in Missouri. I don't know if any of them are near you, but I can cast 'summon Venture Officer' and see if some of the Missouri crews can talk to you.

Bobbo,

I am the coordinator for parts of the Southeast Missouri region, based out of Cape Girardeau, MO. We have games that run at multiple venues, but it looks like the closest to you would be at Valkyrie Games in Poplar Bluff. It's not convienently close, but that is about as far as my reach goes currently.

We DO have a small local convention (Legendary Con) this coming weekend, and have guests travelling from all over; some from as far away as Memphis, TN and Kansas City, MO. If you are interested, you can find more information at Legendary Con 2025 or contatct me directly at semopfs@gmail.com.

Yep, there is quite a bit of OP going on in Missouri. We've got lodges in my neck of the woods which is Columbia and the rest of NEMO, along with lodges in Kansas City, St. Louis, Springfield, Rolla, and Cape G. I believe another VC from one of those lodges is reaching out to you and they are a lot closer to you than I am by far.

However, feel free to reach out to me if you need anything. I am not a FGU user. I use Foundry when I do any online stuff which I haven't done in a while due to time constraints.

Plus, welcome back to Org Play! It's always good when someone jumps in. If you ever get a wild hair to drive a lot to play, hit us up in Columbia on the second Saturday of the month at Valhalla's Gate. In fact, we're playing the first scenario from Season 7 of PFS2 this Saturday at noon. I know, that's a long drive!

And if you get a chance to go to Midwest Game Fair in the spring, that's a convention that Darrel from KC has lured me out to, and I'll be running tables there again in 2026. If you come, be sure to say 'hello!'
