Okay, so, I'm really new to 1e Pathfinder, but a big fan of both D&D and Pathfinder, and I got a bizarre question or two for an idea, of sorts:
If one were to include the Elder Evils into Pathfinder 1e (or 2e, depending), what would their origins be in Golarion? And which entities from Golarion would be Elder Evils for that universe
I've been curious ever since I discovered Pathfinder is heavily based on 3e and 3.5e, and I was hoping to connect the idea for a project of sorts.
My two questions, again, are like this:
For the ones introduced in the book, what would their origins be in Golarion? And which Pathfinder (and Starfinder) entities would count as Elder Evils? (Plus what Signs Of Apocalypse and Malefic Properties they would have.)
I apologize if this is a mouthful. But I would love to hear everyone's input.

While the 4 horsemen are lurking in the lower planes, The elder evils are trapped farther out below the lower planes. Lucifer is imprisoned there, plotting his revenge.
Some are in the dark tapestry, especially the greater mythos old ones. As they are children of a different prime mover, and the resultant demiurge, they require special rituals to banish.
Some merely draw power from the mythos, and can only do that when the stars are right. Thus is Cthulhu and he who must not be named.

in PF1 lore the Elder Mythos (Cthulhu etc) was swept under the rug known as the "Dark Tapestry"... you'll see monikers like Outer Gods, Dominion of the Black, Void school, etc. I think the outer planet in Glorion's solar system is inhabited by Mi-Go or some such. The Dreamlands exist and have been used in a few adventures and are referenced in some spells.
How you rearrange it for your Home Game won't have much impact on the Game as they are supplemental.

Now devils and demons are a different matter. PF has this lore about qlippoths as the original Outer Rifts inhabitants that created/originated demons... then again, I don't think anyone cares that much about it.
