I am an evil millennial! The bane of all publishers everywhere! That said, I really only want PDFs of everything. Happy to buy, but I really only want that. I read almost exclusively on a tablet and my phone.
I also demo this stuff, so I've bought FIVE decent tablets and I hand those out at tables for my players to read the books. I've committed to the bit.
Also, I play with people online when not demoing at cons. Demiplane is awesome for character builds and playing nice with Roll20.
Demiplane says that you get a PDF when you buy the book from them. So, If I drop my book subscriptions and only buy via Demiplane will I get the PDFs? Honestly this will have me a ton via shipping and the physical books are expensive to just sit in my basement and rot.
If I stop my subscription and buy via Demiplane, will I still get the PDF I want and the help for my players I need? Is there a downside that I don't see?

So the big change is going to be you get your PDFs on release date instead of when your books ship. So sometimes 2 to 3 weeks later. But otherwise you have it correct.
