She's playing the part of a local noble with interest in Thassilon, and helping to bankroll the adventure. She is the one obtaining the ioun stones. She has provided gear for the trip to the mushfens. (With some personal tokens so she can scry on them easily) Also gave them a scroll of sending in case of emergencies. Note: I have 3 brand new players, so giving them some fun stuff and light safety nets.
Looking forward, I want to come up with interesting ways Ogonthunn can be involved between every book, being slightly helpful but self-serving, hopefully making the eventual reveal all the better. Though I did make the mistake of showing them her headshot from book 6. One player already thought she was evil based on her look, lol.
Any ideas on how to lightly weave her in would be great!
