Hello!
I am recruiting a lean team of 3-5 players for a Gameday XIV PFS 2nd edition 4xp adventure “Threshold of Knowledge”, playable in "Campaign Mode" by 1st level characters of your creation or from among the 5 pregenerated 1st level characters the adventure supplies. Your choice.
The graduates of the Magaambya are known as some of the greatest wielders of magic in Golarion. Now it's time for a new group of students to take their first steps on the path to greatness. In Threshold of Knowledge, you take on the role of one of five students from the prestigious Magaambya, the oldest school of magic in the Inner Sea region. When a teacher goes missing, it's up to these new heroes to step up and solve a wicked mystery that threatens the existence of the Magaambya itself!
This is not a FCFS (“first come first served”) recruitment, instead I will leave it open until I got a solid team. Check out my GM alias for the kind of game I like to run and what to expect. Will prioritize anyone who has GMed for me top shelf.
Please apply with a full character posted within on-site avatar. We begin September 4th.
Cheers!

I didn't have a level 1 spellcaster, but looking at the pregens for this game it looks like it's OK to have a non-magical character, so I'll throw my new Gunslinger, Clancy Greeves, in for consideration. He's an alchemist so that would be his angle for getting into the Magaambya.
I'm also separately running a Strength of Thousands campaign (we're on Book 3) in real life, so would be interested in playing a Magaambya adventure.

Hello, I'm interested in this game, and would be bringing an elven sorcerer focused around melee and ranged combat (filling a fighter-type role if necessary, but still using magic).
Quick summary: He grew up as part of an Elven noble house. He was the fourth son, so he was expected to gain honor through battle. He became a warrior, and during one battle he accidentally released a surge of magic that destroyed the enemy. His family sent him to the Magaambya both for his safety and their own.

I'm also interested. What pregens are available?
Elf Monk with Crane Stance
Human Fighter with a bow and Point-Blank ShotGrippli Ruffian Rogue (+3 STR, +3 DEX)
Human warpriest Cleric of Tlehar (pre-remaster, has some weird things going on. Definitely missing a feat.)
Half-Orc Fey Sorcerer (also pre-remaster, but has Dangerous Sorcery. Has two spells that aren't normally legal for Society play, so that's cool)
Most of the pregens aren't super optimal, and have some weird choices, but work well. But obviously aren't as fine-tuned as full PCs. Will spoiler them to not sour the mood.
The Cleric needs some work. Remaster has changed a lot about how it works, and as I said, it's missing a thing or two.
Monk has a CON score of +0, making her a bit fragile. But makes up for it with her high AC. Can also use the Shield spell, which does not stack with the AC boost from Crane Stance, so it's a useless feat.
The Rogue has only a +3 on its attack stat. Not the worst, but if you're allergic to not having a +4 in your main stat, stay away. Also can use d8 weapons, but her best weapon is a d6.
