Solo Gamebook styled Adventures using Pathfinder (1st or 2nd)

Pathfinder Second Edition General Discussion

So I ran across this (https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/265655/avalon-s-solo-adventure-sys tem?cPath=1658_29326) recently, which is for 5th Ed DND.

I am wondering if there are any products that work in a similar fashion but for the Pathfinder ruleset? Basically solo TTRPG stuff built like the old gamebooks (if you defeat the bandits go to section 89!) kind of stuff.

I enjoy the pen and paper feel of things, and I love gamebooks, and I kinda want to try solo RPG stuff.

And I really want to try out PF 2nd Ed honestly.

So I figured if anyone knows the answer to this and can give me some suggestions it would be you fine nerds!

I've used the mythic game system, which acts as an oracle or assistant GM of sorts to help guide role play and rule calling, and ran parts of an AP for myself in Foundry.
I've also seen some solo adventures on Pathfinder Infinite for 2e.

If you're running yourself through an AP, the tricky part is wether to run a party of 4, or 2 boosted, or try to make 1 work.
There's pro's and con's to each.

The solo adventures I've seen have been for a single character, usually a pre-gen that should be able to handle the adventure they've put together.

I think Kobold Press did some solo PF1e adventures.

Also check out the “Me, Myself and Die” youTube account, makes a lot of use of “oracle” systems to generate options and answers as he goes…

Honestly, Foundry modules are built robust enough you can just make a team of four and run them through things, reading entries as they come up. Uh, maybe not for AV or SoG. But for the more linear ones it's doable. I've done it for OoA and it's held quite fine.

Not really the same thing, but I believe there is a PF2 video game in development (Dragon's Demand).

Or, for something PF2R right now, there is Dawnsbury Days on Steam.

The Duskwalker's Due is also an interesting looking PF2e solo adventure. It can be found on DriveThruRPG. I've been meaning to try it for years, but I'd rather play with other people or spend my time preparing to game with others. It is pretty highly rated, so is probably worth the time - especially if you don't have access to other gamers who play the game.

I made this CYOA style Venture Captain simulator like 12 years ago. It's mostly full of PFS related jokes but it might find you a few moments of entertainment.

Also, it seems that trying to follow links quickly may not work. It's built on really old teach so give yourself a few extra seconds between clicks.
