Second edition has lots of feats. There are very few I want. Is it ok by rules to go without feats I’m entitled to?
I don't think the rules bother to address the concept of just leaving feat slots empty, taking nothing instead of some benefit.
If you don't want feats, just write a few down on your character sheet and don't ever use them.
Personally, when I don't like the feats of a particular class, or they don't fit my character concept, I tend to go to an Archetype.
Might I inquire as to your character concept/class?
Might I inquire as to what is valued and rewarded in your campaign?
Because that is usually what causes this. Mostly for skill feats. If the campaign doesn't involve any skill challenges, skill feats feel really, really weak.
