I am feeling like at least one of the two parties I am GMing through this adventure is going to look at the Empty Stone's suggestion that they go to the Dark Lands, and decide that they would rather go find the missing orb.
The Absalom book seems to have all the hooks needed (the owner of the orb is a level 20 character who probably won't believe the adventurers don't mean it harm. She has multiple sets of minions and allies who can make it hard for the party to get to her or to find out where she is keeping the orb, she has an "ally" who is looking for a party of adventurers to get in and look into the orb, she has a dangerous task that could be completed to earn her favor.)
Has anyone written a 3 level adventure to get the reflection from the orb?
