Greetings, everyone! The sanctioning documents for the Free RPG day adventures has been released to the venture officers* for us to distribute to GMs, and we were also encouraged to share information about it with the community, so I figured I should let everyone know about sime big announcements.

1) Playing Battle for Nova Rush! will be your first opportunity to register a chronicle for Starfinder Society 2nd edition! The chronicle will award the same amount of credits, xp, and downtime as if you'd played one scenario.
2) Battle for Nova Rush! is repeatable. If you replay it, you will be able to apply a new chronicle to a different character.
3) Thanks to a question by one curious player, Alex Spiedel has confirmed that registering this chronicle before Septmeber 5th, 2025 is sufficient to unlock the ability to create one Skittermander character in Pathfibder Society (Although only the Starfinder Player Core Skittermander is sanctioned for Pathfinder Society play, so you'll have to wait for that book to be released to play your Skittermander)

* There is a brief embargo on organized play of free RPG day content outside of Free RPG day events because it serves as an incentive to visit local game stores, who do in fact pay for the products themselves. This is presumably why the sanctioing documents haven't just been released into the wild

Also, you can now register characters for SFS2e! Please let the OP team know about any bugs you find!

(The [Starfinder] where my faction symbol would be is a known issue)

Reporting Issue - On the GM side of things, I received a GM character type does not match the scenario type (I am not 100% on the verbiage.).
Check of the session history shows Battle For Nova Rush as a Pathfinder First Edition regarding ACP. This error has been confirmed with applying to a 2701 character. Player character reporting does not appear to be affected. If this is a known issue, I apologize for brining it up and will patiently await its resolution. Thank you.

Do we yet know how many credits are awarded for a SFS 2.0 scenario, or the rules for downtime (particularly Earn Income)?

Tomorrow is the first day we can run Battle for Nova Rush for credit, but it'll be hard to accurately fill out the Chronicle sheets without that information.

1st level Characters will recieve 140 credits for completing this adventure (per instructions the GMs who ran this on Free RPG day received). We do not information about how to handle earn income checks (specifically how to handle a larger minimum denomination since 1 credit equals 1 silver puece and fractional credits have never been discussed to my knowledge), so I would reccomend players hold off on rolling for downtime until their character's second session, at which point the rules should be available.

The Lorespire team is hard at work on the guide to Starfinder Society 2nd edition, and it should hopefully be available soon, which might also answer your questions.
