So I noticed something about this feat.

The feat itself is a Level 6 feat yet one of the prerequisite for it is a Level 7 feat - Quick Recognition.

Is this a mistake for the level?

No real answer for this, Just have to wait and see if it gets erratad. It has similar feel to the level 2 skill-feats which require expert proficiency (Possible to get at level 2 but only in edge cases)

Yup this makes me think someone didn't do their research when making this feat.

Oh the skill feat example is definitely a feature-not-bug. This is self-evident when it's not just one or two, and not even just legacy, but nearly every skill feat gated behind expert is level 2. Level 3 and 4 skill feats do exist but they most often relate to archetypes and rather often don't even require expert, just trained will do. Yes, there's pretty few ways to get expert at something at level 2, but you can get it, most notably every Rogue can, so honestly I think this is good design. Mythic Counterspell, not so much, I know of absolutely no way to cheat out Quick Recognition faster than normal since that one is strictly level-gated.

Oh I am well aware, My point being that they might've forgotten to give us the thing that gives Quick Recognition earlier.

The original question was "is the listed level a mistake"
Which.. well again we don't know if they meant to print it as a level 8, they forgot to print a mythic feat at level 4 to support this, or if the prerequisite was meant to be something else. We will simply have to wait until errata to get that answer.

Thanks for the responses. I noticed the glitch in the system when I was trying to make a Witch based on Agatha Harkness from the MCU.

Specifically for the Steal Magic Mythic feat at level 8, which requires the Mythic Counterspell. And of course I wanted Mythic Casting for my 10 level feat. And well with the prerequisite for Mythic Counterspell making the feat unavailable till 8th well kinda threw off my build.

Which led me to post here.
