The Alchemist Dedication feat says "You gain the Quick Alchemy benefits (page 174)...". On page 174 it says, "In addition, you gain the Quick Alchemy action (page 59)...". Then on page 59 it shows Quick Alchemy having 2 actions - Create Consumable and Quick Vial.
The Quick Vial ability providing the ability to create bombs is pretty straight-forward. But my question is with the second part of that ability - where it says "or for the versatile vile option from your research field".
Do multiclass characters with the Alchemist Dedication get a research field?
Thanks!

No, you only get what is listed in the feats that you take. Not anything else from the class in general.
Since the Alchemist Dedication feat doesn't list a Research Field as something that you get, you don't get one. I'm not seeing a way of getting one from the other archetype feats either.
In addition to leaving the list of things you can create from a Versatile Vial unmodified, not having a Research Field also means that you couldn't take Alchemist class feats that require a Research Field, such as Soothing Vials.
