Currently playing a champion, for the first time, in Age of Ashes and I have a question regarding my Redemption Cause, "Glimpse of Redemption". Being a reaction, am I able to use it every round provided I haven't already used another reaction? It's not a spell so doesn't require the use of a focus point does it? Some guys in my current group are saying it's too powerful to be used every round....and yet the dm is happy with it (go figure?).
Cheers

You are correct. It does not require a focus point to use. Or any other resource than your reaction.
There is even the feat Divine Reflexes that gives you a second reaction per turn to use on it.
Yes, it is powerful. But there are other things in the game that are nearly as good. Thaumaturge Amulet's Abeyance does the same damage reduction, but no other effects. And Witch Familiar of Restored Spirit has somewhat equivalent damage prevention (though only against one damage type) but doesn't cost your reaction.

There are two main Drawbacks with the Champion reaction.
You can typically only use them upon an ally taking damage, not yourself (or otherway around for the previously evil ones like obediance and corruption that can only be used upon taking damage yourself).
The ally and enemy both need to be within 15ft where as other classes with similar options just require the ally to be within 15ft.

You "pay" for your reaction with lesser offensive power compared to a fighter or barbarian.
If you raise a shield, your high ac gets even higher, and a melee enemy faces the choice to attack you - hard to hit and protected by shield block - or attack somebody else, get its damage reduced and enfeebled on top.

Thanks guys.
Also, on Champions, how do you guys work shields of the spirit?
If you have multiple allies inside your aura, do they all get the bonus to AC or just one of them?
The wording is wonky but I believe it does apply to all allies, It does not really make sense otherwise as there is no reference to choosing the ally that gains the effect. It still only lasts while they are inside it or until the start of your next turn.

I also run it that every ally in the aura gets the bonus to AC. That seems to be what is described even though the spell is using singular terms.
Which isn't necessarily wrong - generally only a single ally at a time can be attacked with something that targets AC. There are probably some exceptions scattered around in the bestiaries.
