Hi, a question,
How many times can you use Assisted Recovery in a round? That is, if an ally uses two actions for Assisted Recovery and fails, can another ally try it in the same round?
Only once.
Assisted Recovery wrote:
You can take steps to help yourself recover from persistent damage, or an ally can help you, allowing you to attempt an additional flat check before the end of your turn. This is usually an activity requiring 2 actions, and it must be something that would reasonably improve your chances (as determined by the GM). For example, you might try to smother a flame or wash off acid. This allows you to attempt an extra flat check immediately, but only once per round.

If you have the Haste spell, can you use Assisted Recovery twice in the same round?
Haste wouldn't work because it specifies exactly what actions you are allowed to use. Haste gives an extra action with restrictions to only use that action for Stride or Strike.
The Subordinate Actions rule prevents using those actions for anything else, no matter how similar to Stride or Strike they happen to be. And Assisted Recovery isn't even very similar to Stride or Strike.
