Buzzing Death Cicadas non-scaling intentional?

Rules Discussion

I've been playing around with Swarmkeeper builds and just noticed that Buzzing Death Cicadas does not appear to scale in damage the way that Bite & Sting, Pyre Ant Sting, or Sportlebore Choke do. Is this intentional?

The damage of Buzzing Death Cicadas is on par with that of these other feats but then falls behind at level 14. It feels like the scaling language common on the other abilities was mistakenly left off, but perhaps it is intentional.

Any way we can get confirmation on this from a Paizo rep? Will we get an errata for this or is it intended not to scale?

Quote:
Bite and Sting [one-action] Requirements Your swarm is outside your body; Effect Each creature in your swarm's space takes 1d4 piercing damage with a basic Reflex save against your class DC or spell DC, whichever is higher. At 4th level and every 2 levels thereafter, the damage increases by 1d4.

Most likely, if/when the feat gets an errata entry that will be your confirmation that it is unintentional and errata is needed... and available.

Until then, houserule as needed.

Yeah, that's fair, and basically what I've resigned myself to, but I thought it never hurts to ask. You will never catch a fish if you never cast your line.

For now, I've been basically skipping the feat entirely. Not because it's not good but because it competes with options that will don't lose their a few levels later. It's either that or taking in short term and trying to train out of it later.
