Does casting Containment end grapple on a target?

Rules Discussion

If the Containment spell is cast and succeeds on a target that is physically grabbed or grabbing another, does that condition automatically end?

1 person marked this as a favorite.

It blocks all attacks and effects so I'd say yes.

Thanks!

The only other consideration I had was the forced movement rule under immobilized ehich calls for a separate check, but there’s actually no one being forced out of their space in this scenario so likely not relevant.
