Higher Level Playtest scenarios for SFS

Liberty's Edge

I have looked, I have searched, I have googled.

So far I can not find the rules for making a higher level character for the 5th level playtest scenario. Where can I find that? I'm sure I'm missing something obvious...

The big thing would be the wealth by level. I don't have the playtest doc in front of me, but there is a sidebar in the first couple of pages of the equipment chapter. Basically, you use the Wealth by Level from the PF2 GM guide. 1 silver is 1 credit

Thank you

Do be aware that the society playtests generally do not allow you to take the larger lump sum of currency. I'd speculate that this is because in the context of a one-off scenario the sheer number of consumables you could acquire and use with abandon would not be representative of playing a multi-session adventure or campaign and would skew data.

Silver Crusade

Yeah, this is in the wrong forum as any org play rules do not apply to the playtest of the SF2 rules.

This feels like the right place to me, as it relates to playtest scenarios. Where would you have posted such a question?

Wayfinders

I've only played organized play for both SF1e and PF2e so that's how I'm viewing the playtest. If I remember correctly unlike PF2e the Starfder developers said in an interview that for Starfinder organized play was considered the main product line that drove the setting lore. Also because organized play doesn't let you homebrew rule changes it's even more important for the core rules to work right for organized play.
