Giant Wasp Advanced Maneuver

I was looking over the Darting Stab Maneuver for the Giant Wasp (https://2e.aonprd.com/AnimalCompanions.aspx?ID=95) and I couldn't figure out if the was some rules interaction I was missing.

Darting Stab costs 2 actions for 15ft of flight and a strike. but the wasp has a 40ft fly speed, so I could just spend my companions two actions on a stride and strike to gain a lot more movement.

Is there an interaction I am missing somewhere or is this just a garbage maneuver?

I'm curious on this now too because I don't think you are missing anything. It even is a flourish so can only be done once a round but doesn't add anything else.

I suspect this was intended to be a 1 action ability.

I would also vote to houserule it to be a one-action ability.

Either that or allow the Wasp to move up to 15 feet both before and after the Strike. That would also put it in line with the abilities of other Animal Companions such as the Giant Eel and Griffon.
