We were testing out a basic encounter with Space Goblins at level 2. I felt a tad bit useless when using my Get'Em Directive. Not because Get'em sucked but because the enemies died far to quickly to feel like it was a massive improvement on th ebattle field. I got to used it 2 times in a fight with 6 Space Goblins. Mostly because it just so happened we had a soldier who just completely struck half of them down nearly by them using a Stellar Cannon. Not a real problem.

It feels a lot weaker for 1 Action then the Bard's 60ft emanation Courage Anthon which allows allies to become more flexible with their target choices. Not to mention I would like to add in a secondary line to Get'Em! If your Ally is using Area Fire or Auto-Fire, the -1 Circumstance penalty to AC because a -1 Circumstance penalty to their Reflex save.

After combat I felt oddly compelled to use my skills whenever I could justify them. I feel half as if this was a result of having roughly 50% more skils that i am trainedf in compared to all other classes but the Witchwarper (Due to their INT KAS or the Solarian (Who for some reason get 5 instead of 4) Right now I feel like with the fact Starfinder adds in 2 new skills to the system you would need to increase the skill training of the other classes to be 4+Int at a minimal. it feels like the other classes just aren't as flexible as the Envoy for minimal increases of effectiveness.

Overall however the classes are working out very nicely!

Get 'Em! already does that

envoy are very weak for a support martial

couldn't use key ability for attack was always awful

–1 circumstance to ac doesn't stack with off guard

–1 circumstance to reflex are pretty rare and somewhat useful

was the 5 bonus damage good enough

ruffian have decent chance of apply 5 weakness every turn and do so much more damage themself

too many per 10 minute per hour per day ability that should all be focus spell instead

all directive have a example upgrade is nice idea

too many source of temporary hp but not enough other defensive bonus like resistance cover conceal hidden or status bonus to save
