Firebrands and Aiuvarins

Horizon Hunters

I know that Starfinder 2e and Pathfinder 2e will be cross-compatible but for a while I've wondered quite how similar the two games will be.

I have two questions to pose,

1: Do you think Firebrands are coming to Starfinder 2e.
2: Do you think Aiuvarins will work the same in Starfinder 2e as they do in Pathfinder 2e.

The reason I'm curious is, I really want to play an Envoy revolutionary and I don't know of any good Starfinder factions for that. I also really want my first character to be a Lashunta Half-elf.

Thank You.

I think it's unlikely they would bring Firebrands in SF2e honestly. As for relevant factions, the Android Abolitionist Front could be a good fit.

For aiuvarins, I don't see any reason why they wouldn't work the same? So you could just use the versatile heritage as is (if the GM permits you of course).

I forgot about the Android Abolitionist Front, so thank you.

Don't they only work to free Androids though. I am Kind of going for a Firebrand style privateer, for fighting Veskarium traders and Azlanti and stuff. Although my best fit for that might just be the Free Captains. They are a lot more neutral than in Pathfinder.

Besmara allows for CG followers in Legacy, so it's possible that she'd allow for Holy when she's updated in the Remaster. That could be a good seed for a goodly, Robin Hood-style pirate crew.

Aiuvarins will be fully compatible with whatever ancestries are published in SF2e, though I expect the baseline SF2e version to get a few more setting relevant feats and such.

As for the Firebrands, they were active well before the Gap so there's no reason a modern group couldn't start a revivalist movement. I don't know if they are going to get any official SF2e support though.

The AAF was started by Androids for Androids, yes, although it definitely expanded to include more than androids, both in members and also the people they help out. You can read up more on the wiki if you like.

You could definitely being a Freecaptain, or an AAF member, or Even like someone said a Firebrand Revivalist, and ask your GM if you can use firebrand feats and archetypes to give you the mechanics to match.

Honestly I'd like some fresh new factions that might be for Starfinder 2nd Ed. Then maybe in an official AP that will cross over (you one is going to come sooner or later , right?...) Where they might start that in PF II's Golarian.

If its an official AP then I'd GM it but otherwise no cross content mix for me, but I can see others who might like doing just that.

Given that a defining part of SF2 is the rebellion of the Pahtra home planet against the Veskarium, I doubt you'll be lacking for stories and mechanical options for a rebel character.
