Incendiary Aura still lacks the Aura trait.

Pathfinder Second Edition General Discussion

Just got a sneak peak in core 2, and even with a reprint of Incendiary Aura
it still lacks the Aura trait.

Can we get an errata quick on this cause, it makes no sense for a spell with aura in its name not to be and aura.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------

And if you intended for it to not be an aura a more fitting name would be Searing zone or something similar and i suggest a rename.

Plz paiso this is desperately needed, even its if easy to house-rule it still causes problems when your intent for the spell is unclear.

you fixed bane and bless and those dont even have aura in there name

Desperately? Really?

Slight Over exaggeration from my part.

but going by earlier track record there is a time window where they are more likely to do errata on the new books they release.

There is in fact a very large difference in how the spell behaves if it has the Aura trait or it doesn't.

Having a spell with an Emanation area and a duration not behave like an Aura is very non-intuitive.

If the spell is intended to be in a fixed location once cast, then it shouldn't be using an Emanation to define the area. A Burst area would be a better choice because that is defined in reference to a fixed point on the ground rather than a mobile character.
