Reinforcement runes and base magical shield costs

When you buy a basic magical weapon possessing only fundamental runes, the cost of the base weapon is subsumed into the cost of the fundamental runes (GM Core 241). When you buy a basic magical armor possessing only fundamental runes, the cost of the base armor is subsumed into the cost of the fundamental runes (GM Core 229).

Is the cost of a shield therefore subsumed into the cost of a reinforcement rune?

Pretty sure no, that's just a Sturdy Shield.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

I also think that is not. Once that has nothing stating this.

The price substitution is clearly specific to weapons and armor runes only.
