Wayfinder question...

Radiant Oath

So, searched for a thread... didn't find one... here goes:

Some wayfinders have different abilities - for example, the Wayfinder of Rescue. Is that an... attachment, addition, etc... that I can add onto, say, my original wayfinder, or a Hummingbird Wayfinder - or, are they completely separate wayfinders? Can I have more than one?

Thanks very much!

They are Completly different items, but im sure you DM might alow you to modify your original wayfinder to one of the other.

Yes you can have several of them, but they are invested and if you have 2 invested at the same time they both stop working.
so technically you can have several but its not that practical

Keep in mind that all Wayfinders are Uncommon so they are not normaly available to players without GM specific permission
(or if something specifically say you have access to that item/feature)

They're all separate items (though all allow insertion of aeon stones), but you can have more then one. (Which is true for all magic items, but depending on circumstances like attunement and bonuses not everything would work at the same time)

Yes correct but the Wayfinder have a extra addition that makes it harder to have several at the same time compared to other magical items.

If you have more than one wayfinder with an invested aeon stone on your person at a given time, destructive interference from their resonance prevents you from gaining benefits from any of them. You can still benefit from additional aeon stones orbiting your head, just not in wayfinders.

Radiant Oath

Thanks for the information, everyone; I have a standard Wayfinder available to everyone after two sessions, and just finished a scenario that gave me access to an invested wayfinder. Just trying to figure out if I should keep my original, or just run with the invested one.

Cheers!
