Divine Shield Ally and Reinforcing Rune: HP?

Community,
As title.
What are the stats of, say, a Steel Shield with a Minor Reinforcing Rune in the hands of a Champion who has chosen it as his Divine Ally?

Does the +50% increase to HP bust the Reinforcing cap?

Cheers.

I would say you apply Divine Ally to the modified item, which means 10 Hardness, 96 HP, and 48 BT, same as if applied to a sturdy shield.

Hopefully the Remaster addresses that, since the one ability was created before the other existed (or arguably even could exist). Though yeah, for now I'd agree that Divine Ally had been meant to increase even a Sturdy Shield's h.p. beyond the top of the curve so I'd let it do so now by being applied second.

If you're using a Sturdy Shield, Shield Ally applies to the whole thing. It feels like the rune should interact in the same way, otherwise it defeats the intent of the rune being "you can use a shield other than a sturdy one".
