As far as I know, we had several times when it was planned to create an AP, but for one reason or another they were never implemented.
An example of this is the mention of the AP, which would have resolved the situation in Galt. Of course, in the end we managed to get the current state of affairs completed, albeit to a much smaller extent.
However, I have another question - what other stories were considered to be created in the setting, but in the end they were never created?

Since ones we've never had a chance to publish for lack of whatever reason, often those adventures end up coming out later. A great example is the Jade Regent Adventure Path. This one was originally planned to come out after Second Darkness, as a way to bring the first three Varisia-based Adventure Paths out of the region even further than the Inner Sea (where we went with Second Darkness) and show off a lot of the planet along the way. But then everything changed and we had to start gearing up for Pathfinder RPG and as with any new edition release, that kind of "reset" the momentum we had going as far as exploring the setting. Then, once things got into the Pathfinder RPG, we chose to wait for a moment when the rulebook line could produce the rules we wanted in order to present adventures in Minkai. All of that meant that Jade Regent waited years to come about and rather than starting with volume #19 it started with #49.
As a result, I'm not comfortable talking TOO much about Adventure Paths I've planned for but haven't yet been implemented, because I'm hopeful that they'll all some day get in print somehow. When that happens, I can talk about them in retrospective terms (as I did with Galt), but before then, that's too close to announcing projects too far in a potential future.
