Question about the feat Titan wrestler

Rules Discussion

Vigilant Seal

The feat allows as stated: “ You can attempt to Disarm, Grapple, Reposition, Shove, or Trip creatures up to two sizes larger than you, or up to three sizes larger than you if you’re legendary in Athletics.”

In regards to shoving, would this benefit a PC using a weapon such as a maul or warhammer with the shove trait?

Yes. This feat applies whether you are shoving with your hand or shoving with a weapon that has the shove trait.

You're welcome. :)

The biggest advantage of the shove weapon trait is that it lets you use your weapon's potency rune bonus as an item bonus to your athletics check.

If you use your hand, you'd likely want to buy either a Lifting Belt (for a +1 item bonus) or Armbands of Athleticism (for +2 or +3).

The same reasoning works with the trip, disarm, and grapple traits.
