Something I noticed is that the 5 Imperial Dragons we have seen align pretty closely to five of the nine environment types.
Imperial Dragons: Sea, Forest, Sky, Sovereign, Underworld
Environments: Aquatic, Arctic, Desert, Forest, Mountain, Plains, Swamp, Urban, Underground
Matching them up we get:
Aquatic (Sea), Forest (Forest), Mountain (Sky), Urban (Sovereign), Underground (Underworld)
Do you think there is design space to fill in the remaining four environments with Imperial Dragons? Possibly something like:
Arctic (Boreal), Desert (Desert), Plains (Prairie), Swamp (Fen)
Also, with Dragons being snyced up to align to the magical traditions (Arcane, Divine, Occult, Primal) do you think Imperial Dragons will have Divine & Primal traits?

Outer/Space Dragons
Do you think the Outer/Space Dragons will get realigned to have the Occult & Primal traits?
Also, with the new names for some of the Planes, some of the Outer/Space dragons may benefit from a name change.
Lunar
Solar
Time = Eternity Dragon
Void = Infinity Dragon

Elemental and Esoteric Dragons
Elemental Dragons
Brine, Cloud, Crystal, Magma, Umbral
Esoteric Dragons
Nightmare, Dream, Occult, Etheric, Astral
The Elemental Dragons being aligned with Primal and the Esoteric Dragons being aligned with Occult seems pretty obvious.
For the Elemental Dragons, do you think we will see Umbral Dragons dropped and added to Esoteric Dragons?
Do you think we will see Metal and Wood Elemental Dragons added to the Elemental Dragons?

Planar Dragons
Infernal, Rift, Apocalypse, Edict, Crypt, Tumult, Bliss, Havoc, Paradise
The Planar Dragons being aligned to Divine seems pretty obvious.
Do you think the Planar Dragons will also get tagged with family trait (Celestial, Monitor, Fiend)?
Fiend: Infernal, Rift, Apocalypse
Monitor: Edict, Crypt, Tumult
Celestial: Bliss, Havoc, Paradise

The Imperial Dragons embody the elemental cycle of the eastern elemental system, each one embodies an element and counters and is fed by the other (e.g. Sky embodies Metal and is countered by Fire, fed by Earth), they're not tied to the environments and it would break the thematic links they have already.

I'd say Time Dragon is fine still, they're also found in the Dimension of Time after all. Outer and Esoteric will probably be tied to Occult sure - I imagine that Umbral will remain Primal, since the Netherworld isn't a transitory plane like the Ethereal, Astral, etc.
The Adamantine Dragons I thought would be the "Metal Dragon" of the Primal family but they seem to be part of the Skymetal Dragon clade (which is Primal magic aligned tbf). Horned, I figured it would either be Wood or hey maybe it gets weird and it's actually the First World one.
And to be fair, there's technically a bit of space for expanding Imperial Dragons: the Sovereign Dragons are meant to be Earth Dragons but they are somehow divorced from the same cycle - no one knows why, some suspect foul play on their end - but technically there's no actual Dragon fed by Fire and weakened by Wood.
