Term change of Relic

Playtest General Discussion

AoN for Pathfinder 2e says Relic is item with grow in power along with a character.

Starfinder's Relic definition can be turned into Rare items, right?

So electricity gift and technology gift can be in.

What's going to be interesting about SF2e and PF2e being compatible is that the artifacts and relics from PF2e will really feel like ancient artifacts and relics in Starfinder. Relics in PF2e work very differently than in SF but SF relics fall under the category of Tech Relics so could still be different from PF2e relics. I imagine that whatever happens with artifacts and relics in SF2e it will be important that they use the same terminology and definitions as PF2e or have separate terms to distinguish them from each other.

Now how likely are you to find an out-of-setting artifact or relic is likely going to be extremely rare, and pure speculation having not seen the SF2e rules yet.

Kishalee batteries could be rare items, but other Kishalee devices can be Tech Relics.

I like concept of self-recharging batteries.
