Androids in Alkenstar

Outlaws of Alkenstar

Vigilant Seal

I am currently making a new Android Gunslinger Character. The concept would be sort of a mix between Gesicht from Naoki Urasawa's "Pluto" and Officer K from Blade Runner 2049.

Is it too farfetched for an Android to be in Alkenstar? How would the population react? And what kind of languages would an Android be able to pick up from this location?

Androids are considered rare outside of Numeria, so it's no more farfetched for one to be in Alkenstar than most places in the Inner Sea. It may make sense that an android would be interested in Alkenstar's technology, even if it is "low-tech" rather than "high-tech." The church of Brigh could also be a reason for an android to travel to Alkenstar.

The population's reaction will probably depend on how obviously the android's appearance deviates from "normal." Considering Alkenstar is pretty diverse, androids will probably not attract a lot of attention unless they go out of their way to show off their nature.

Based on the Players Guide and regional languages, the following languages are probably considered "prevalent in your region:" Dwarven, Gnoll, Jotun, Kelish, Mwangi, Osiriani*, Taldane*, and Vudrani.

*- Based on history and location, Osiriani could possibly be considered "Common" in place of Taldane

Thanks for the info! Was trying to flesh out my Character but you did provide a lot of insight on this, espcially the Chuch of Brigh.
