I was wondering if it was possible to stack the Magic Hacks Energy Alteration with Spellshot.
The latter talks about casting a spell as a Standard Action into a gun, and the former allows you to change the spells energy type as a Full Action when you cast it (or as a Standard Action if you spend an RP). So can you alter the energy type of the spell when you use spellshot? And if so, do you have to spend an RP to keep it as a Standard Action since Spellshot requires a spell that uses a Standard Action?

I think so, as long you're willing to burn the 1 RP!
Spell shot says:
"You can cast an area spell with a casting time of 1 standard action or less through a ranged weapon..."
And energy alteration says:
"...You can spend 1 Resolve Point when casting a spell that deals damage to apply the effects of this magic hack without adjusting the spell’s casting time."
The wording of the two clearly states that Spellshot is still, for all intents and purposes, casting a spell as a Standard Action, and energy alteration's 1 RP rider allows you to apply its effects to a spell you're casting, so - go to! (As long as the rest of the requirements are met: area spell, etc.)
RAW aside: I don't even think it's particularly broken, so from a balance perspective, it's not out of line. Yes, shooting a bullet with a spell stapled onto it is really good, and being able to change energy types can single-handedly win fights, but: you have to choose two specific class features to pull this off, and spend 1 RP every time you want to do it. Seems like a fair trade-off to me.
