Healer's Blessing

Rules Discussion

It targets one creature and you get additional bonuses (+2 per level) with a 1 minute duration. Does that mean every round you heal the additional HP or just once within that 1 minute?

Healer's Blessing

The spell lasts for a minute and each separate spell that heals the target will get the bonus healing. Any spell that heals multiple times will only get the bonus once.

So casting Heal on the target three times will get the bonus healing once on all three spells. (you could do that in one round with three one-action Heal castings if you wanted to for some strange reason)

But casting Hymn of Healing on the target or if the target takes two of the uses of Vital Beacon, then they only get the bonus healing once - the first time that they gain healing from that spell.

Not only every round but every time someone casts a healing spell in the creature.

If you apply Healer's Blessing to a target then casts 2 1-action heal spells they will gain +2 HP for each heal.

The sentence "The target regains additional Hit Points from healer's blessing only the first time it regains HP from a given healing spell, so a spell that heals the creature repeatedly over a duration would restore additional Hit Points only once." is to prevent fast healing/regeneration spells to be over-benefited from it.
