Houses of Perfection - Earth, Metal, & Wood

Do we think the Houses of Perfection are going to go through a bit of a shake up? Will Untwisting Iron split into two houses, one for Earth and one for Metal? Will a new house be established for Wood?

Or do we think they will stick with the traditional four houses?

I wood love to hear everyone's thoughts, opinions, and theories.

I could certainly get behind a mini-campaign or even one-shot about Jalmeray establishing two new Houses of Perfection, and looking at what that entails - how the four established monasteries react to these upstarts drawing potential acolytes away, what they offer that the other Houses don't, the prestige of sponsoring the temples' construction and the Asuras and Rakshasas who would be happy to throw a spanner in the works.

I hadn't considered getting to see their reaction on screen in an adventure!

I think, if there's a change worth doing, it should be done as part of gameplay. I like what Paizo did to fix the Mwangi Expanse, but my gripe with Vidrian is that it would have been a perfect excuse for an adventure about staging a revolution against an apartheid occupier, and was instead done offscreen between editions. This isn't the same level of seriousness, but still has narrative potential that can be explored. They released Impossible Lands not all that long ago, and it gives them a chance to explore part of that region to sustain interest.

I think there's too much story potential with gaining new houses for us to not see it happening somewhere. My bet is on a PFS scenario somewhere down the line. I believe the Pathfinder Society has already helped in the rediscovery of the House of the Unbreaking Wave, so this could be a fun reason to go back there and revisit NPCs and continue building the relationship between the Pathfinder Society and Houses of Perfection.
