Investigator - Devise a Stratagem

Playing an Investigator using the "Devise a Stratagem" action, trying to interpret "use the result of the roll you made to Devise a Stratagem for your Strike’s attack roll instead of rolling". For example:

Bob the Investigator has Nature +7 and an Int of 18 (+4)

Rolls a Nature check for his "Devise a Stratagem" action

d20 = 15

Nature Check result is 22 (15+7)

Would that mean Bob would add his Int bonus to the 22 (total result) or the 15 (die result) for the strike?

I could see a number of ways that I've misinterpreted this.

Thanks,
Kizan

Roll a D20 when you use Devise a Stratagem. Seeing that it is 15, note that down.

If you choose to Strike that target and use your INT, your attack roll will now be 15+proficiency with your weapon+INT mod. Any other bonuses and penalties apply normally.

Nature modifier doesn't come into the attack roll at all.

Devise a strategem is not a skill check. You replace the number that you would otherwise roll for a strike. You add intelligence to your strike modifier instead of strength or dex as long as it meets the prerequisites for it.

I was mashing that in my head with "Known Weakness" for the Nature Check. You are both correct!

Thanks for the info!
