Seasons of Ghosts - each book is a season?

Also read on the Paizo blog that each book takes place during a different season.

So does that mean there's downtime between books?

Or does each adventure take 3 months of in game time to play?

Thanks
Reebo

To my knowledge we haven't heard anything in either direction, but my bet would be on there being chunks of downtime between books. Downtime is a system PF2E is trying to reintroduce and make, if not more normalized, then at least more accessible for those groups who enjoy it in their adventures.

Downtime activities are something Paizo has included in several APs going back to the Dungeon magazine days. Some APs provide more opportunities for downtime than others, but I don't think any of the APs require the PCs to constantly "grind" through the chapters as quickly as possible (even if some specific parts penalize the party if they act slowly, breaks in between to recover once they are resolved are usually allowed/encouraged).

From listening to discussions from Paizocon, this AP sounds like there will be plenty to do with the downtime system.

Each volume of Season of Ghosts covers one of the four seasons, starting with Summer in volume 1 and ending with Spirng in volume 4. Downtime activities play a significant role in all four volumes; there's not really big chunks of downtime between books as much as throughout each book.

Thanks James, looking forward to it!
