Remaster Speculation; Warrior Bard?

Thinking about what they could give the Warrior Bard instead of Martial Weapons now all bards are getting martial weapons... Medium Armor? Do they view that as sort of 'equivalent'. It would definitely open some builds.

This means Senti can get you heavy too if you wanna be a chonk bard standing behind your buddies with a long spear

I would assume so, warrior bard is a little odd in that martial performance didn't actually do much because bard already had good finesse martial weapons and without medium couldn't really justify investing heavily in strength.

Yeah, Medium Armor would be an easy alternative. It would allow Warrior Bards to relax their Dex requirements, and as they probably already want decent Str, this would ultimately give them a broader range of viable builds.
