Hello, I'm a GM reading through Curse of the Crimson Throne in preparation for running it, and I was looking at Mandravius's armor. It says that it's Celestial armor, but also that it's full plate. I'm confused on how that would effect the statistics of it, if anyone happened to know a sensible interpretation of it, I'd really appreciate it.

Are you referring to Celestial Plate Armor?

Ah, I'm reading the updated hardcover version, I didn't realize that was a thing. The text in my version reads "Most of Mandraivus’s gear has long since been claimed by other denizens of the castle, but his full
plate, which is a suit of celestial armor bearing heraldry
from the nation of Lastwall, was too unsettling for the vile
denizens to handle."
Thank you for pointing me to this however, I do think it'll be what I use. I appreciate the help!

although that doesn't really excuse not reprinting for book only players.
I think the transgression isn't not listing the item's stats, but rather changing the item (to the Celestial Armor found in the CRB, thus no need for a reprint) without changing the description. There're still two references to plate armor in the text, when the item to be looted as written is a chainmail.
Assuming it was a conscious choice to change the item. Although it could be that whoever edited the book for the hardcover version thought the celestial armor was a plate armor, and they were too lazy to check.
